My Letter to Senator Hatch

Is it me, or has Senator Hatch (who I’ve supported for years) lost it?

His most recent slap to the face of the American People, is warning Congressman Chaffetz to be careful about fighting earmarks. Grrr!

When you’re not happy with your representatives, be it State, or in Washington, LET THEM KNOW!

Dear Senator Hatch:

I’m writing you to let you know that I am angry with you.

I just read a report on KSL.com about you warning Congressman Chaffetz to be careful about fighting earmarks. I read the whole thing, and I can see your point, but seriously, with the raging anger this country has over government thievery, you’re seriously going to take that position?!?

Senator, we are fed up with tax and spend. And honestly, I am fed up with you: I am angry about your efforts to get a pardon for convicted drug dealer John Forte, I am mad about the love song your wrote about Ted Kennedy, I am mad that you supported the nomination of Eric Holder, and Tim Geithner. I am angry that you seem to be working so hard to get along with the people who are destroying this country that it appears you have turned into one of them! And now this!

Jason Chaffetz is a congressman today because the people who put him in office believe he will be uncompromising. We are SICK to DEATH of compromise! We want our country back! We don’t want deals, we don’t want give and take, we want action! We want a fighter.

Unfortunately, I can’t vote for Chaffetz, because I don’t live in his district, but I support him 100%.

I DO get to vote for you, however.

And I want earmarks GONE! Here’s an idea, give us our money back, and we’ll spend it on what WE want, rather than what the government tells us we do.

What I would really like is for everyone in Washington to STOP! Stop writing bills, stop passing laws, stop regulating EVERYTHING on God’s green earth! For the love of Pete, we’ve got enough laws to last another 200 years if everyone in Washington was in a coma!

I am tired of being financially ravaged by the IRS and getting nothing but government incompetence and stupidity in return for it! Washington has become nothing more than a huge government operated extortion ring. I am absolutely sick of it, and so are millions of Americans like me.

The Tea Parties, the Town Hall Meetings, the 9/12 project, the 2nd Amendment March (currently being organized), and other citizen movements to oppose big government and illegal regulation are not unimportant anomalies. They represent a huge dissatisfaction over government abuse. Ignore them at your political peril.

I want you to remember that you, as a United States Senator, are a representative of The People. You are NOT a leader. You are not in office to lead. The People lead YOU.

You are in office to represent us. Right now I want my representatives to be mean and aggressive. I want you to resist the acid that is corroding the shining heart of this country with absolute resolve. We don’t want puppies, we want pit bulls.

Today, you lost my vote, Senator. That’s the bottom line. I’ve supported you for years, but today, I’m done.

While you’ve done many good things over the years, lately it appears that you’ve lost touch. We want representatives who stand up for us. We as Americans have compromised ourselves almost to the point of losing our liberty. That is over. On election day, I will be supporting people who will FIGHT to get my freedom back.

Thanks for your time, and your service!

Sincerely,

And that’s it. I have written to Senator Hatch before about other issues. In the past my letters have been positive and supportive. I hope this one clearly signals the dramatic change in my sentiment towards his office.

Why don’t YOU take the time to write to your representatives. Let them know if they’re doing a good job. Let them know if they aren’t. But don’t only write on rare occasions when you’re mad. It’s important to give them props when they deserve it. If they frequently get positive correspondence from you and recognize you as someone who frequently encourages and supports their projects, it will have a much greater impact when you have to write them a scathing letter like this one.

Go fourth with honor and have a great day!

Bob Beckel is a genius!

“I get on Hannity every Monday night and say Obama is the greatest economic president since Franklin Roosevelt and watch Hannity’s jaw drop,” … “And that is one of the great moments of my week.” — Bob Beckel (Democrat Pundit)

Who could argue with that? The economy is has just soared since Obama took over!

The great obstacle America faces

Okay, today I’m going to be lazy and post some quotes — because I think they are pure and brilliant truth.

These are two quotes by Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts (Las Vegas) taken from a recent interview with Chris Wallace on Fox:

“Government has never increased the standard of living of one single human being in civilization’s history. For some reason that simple truth has evaded everybody. The only thing that creates an increased standard of living is giving someone a job, the demand for their labor — whether it’s you and I, Chris, or anybody else. The people that are paying the price for this juggernaut of federal spending are the middle class and the working class of America.”

“…And soaring rhetoric and great speeches with or without a teleprompter aren’t going to change the truth, and the truth is: The biggest enemy, the biggest obstacle that working middle-class America has is government spending.”

If only people could “get” this. I’m afraid that by the time people in America wake up to the truth (if they ever do), it’s going to be too late.

I used to believe that inside of every human heart there is an innate desire to be free.

I used to think that each one of us wanted to be in control of our destiny and potential — to fly with the glorious wings of liberty that our forefathers and brave soldiers bought for us with enormous sacrifice and with their lives.

But today, we’re a nation of infants — liberal, dependent, foolish, perfectly content with endless regulations, controls, systems, and laws. The cost of which is huge! It limits our potential and breaks our spirit.

There is no freedom in this. The government doesn’t fears us (like our founding fathers intended), it runs us. And the most abhorrent thing about that is: no one cares.

But I do.

Hydrogen Barackside

Hydrogen Barackside

I just wanted to let everyone know that this stuff really works — I am now officially unemployed for the first time in my adult life, and the company that I worked for will probably be forced to close its doors soon thanks to socialist economics and super-hero Barack Obama.

And with reduced competition and the inflation that trillions of dollars worth of un-backed curency flooding the market will cause, you can be sure that the products we used to bring you will increase in price while your wages drop and your money becomes worthless.

Thanks Obama — Lovin’ the change!

The Pied Piper of Healthcare

Obama_pied_piper

I’m just wondering how bad things have to get before Obama Lovers wake up and smell the burning country.

Some time ago, an anonymous commenter responded to one of my old posts (The Obama Generation) where he wrote, and I quote:

you all don’t understand what are country is going through and that President Obama is the one who will help us out of this. when this happens you will all feel like idiots

So now — many months later — I’m trying to think whether I feel like an idiot or not. And I really have to admit; I love it when people who are barely literate, are unable to construct even a basic English sentence, and have an advanced degree in burger flipping, turn out to be experts on leadership, economics, and financial policy –and– make a point to inform me of how I’m an idiot for not seeing the obvious — that they are total geniuses, and know that Barack Obama is the savior of the Universe.

Well, so far, Barack Obama and the Democrat Congress (CONgress being the inverse of PROgress, in this case) have absolutely wrecked the economy just as I predicted they would. Who’s feeling like an idiot now, Anonymous? Huh?

And it get’s worse. You’ve only seen the beginning. The new Healthcare plan that they’re talking about will absolutely crush what’s left of our broken economy under a massive — like never before seen — tax burden and debt load. You think things are are bad now? You think your healthcare is too expensive? Wait till you’re paying tens of thousands a year in extra taxes to pay for Obamacare!

“But wait!”, you say. “Obama said he’ll only raise taxes on the rich and big business.”

It can’t be done. We’re talking trillions of dollars here, people! There is no way on God’s Green Earth our crippled economy can tolerate that kind of additional abuse. The financial burden of Obama Care will be passed down to you when the upper tiers of the economy fail to support the massive weight of it. The government will be forced to raise your taxes.

Obots, I’m talking to you.

Taxing the wealthy and business owners is not the solution to everything. Who do you think employs your mindless bodies? Who do you think produces everything you buy when you go to the store? What’s going to happen to the prices you pay when massive taxes are imposed on the producers? What do you think is going to happen to your job when your employer can’t afford to insure you, or even pay you any more?

Barack Obama is lying about the feasibility of his plan. You have to understand this. Government is a poor producer. It can’t do anything by itself. It can’t take care of you — it depends on you! Most people in this Administration and the Congress haven’t even read the healthcare bill they’re selling to you. If you’re thinking about buying something, is the highly commissioned salesman the best person to give you advice about it? NO!

Trust me, there aren’t enough rich people in this country to pay for this healthcare plan, and even if there were, they wouldn’t be rich for long. By supporting this bill, you’re opting to put the screws to your employer and your neighbors — probably even putting them out of business, and complaining at the same time about unemployment and layoffs!

But in truth, it’s not even about healthcare, it’s about breaking the back of our free market system so that the enemies of this country can destroy your wealth, make you dependent, and end the American way of life.

Obama is nothing more than a Pied Piper (a professional manipulator), and Americans are the unfortunate children being lead away forever by a happy tune.

Good luck with that, and don’t say I didn’t warn you. I’m not the one who will be feeling like an idiot in the future, but if you support Obamacare, and it passes, I’m pretty sure you will.

Michael Moore IS a Capitalist!

michaelmoore

He says capitalism is evil — has declared an all-out war on it — and yet Michael Moore has made his personal fortune selling his movies and documentaries for profit. That makes Michael Moore a CAPITALIST and according to his own definition — evil.

But what Michael Moore really is, is a bombastic hypocrite — a raging case of “Do as I say, not as I do.”

And while Mr. Moore runs around trashing America and berating everything it stands for, he engages in the very freedoms and pursuits that he claims the rest of us have no right to enjoy.

Capitalism and success for him, communism and oppression for the rest of us.

Personally, I suspect that Mr. Moore is not so stupid that he actually believes his own rhetoric (if he did he wouldn’t resort to outright lies to make his points), but that he’s been duped into believing that by helping the communist underground rise to power he’ll be a respected member of it, maybe placed in a position of prominence — that he’ll be be spared from the ugly fate that he helped thrust upon his betrayed country and fellow men.

He is a capitalist, after all, and in his sick way, he’s trying to capitalize on the slavery, oppression, and eventual destruction of the greatest economic engine ever known in the history of the world, and the people who lived (prosperously) under it for a time.

He doesn’t care if he destroys you in his quest to be a king, as long as he’s rich, fat, and comfortable. He’ll sell us all out for his chance to sit at the top.

But trust me, Mr. Moore, you’re just a useful idiot, and you’ll be thrown in the pit with the rest of us when it’s all said and done.

You can bank it! You’re a Mooron!

North Korea is da bomb!

composit-nuke-il

North Korea has successfully tested a nuclear bomb.

I doubt if I need to explain what a terrible thing this is, but since N. Korea’s President, Kim Jong Il is truly insane and once threatened to baptize the imperialist Americans and their allies in a nuclear “sea of fire”, I’m a little bit alarmed that he now has the means to actually do it!

Prior to now, N. Korea has only made a laughing stalk of itself by conducting long-range missile tests in defiance of international protests, which have resulted mostly in pathetic, or in some cases spectacular, failures to the point that no one really takes N. Korea’s threatenings seriously any more.

But recently N. Korea fired a missile over Japan and into the Pacific ocean—defying United Nations Security Council Resolution 1718, and causing total outrage. N. Korea insists that it was a peaceful communications satellite launch. Underwater Ocean Satellites (UOS’s) are based on advanced N. Korean technology closely guarded, and unknown to the rest of the world.

The fact that N. Korea thinks it is perfectly reasonable to test-fire ballistic missiles over other countries is alarming by itself. But we now have to wonder if the next test will be tipped with a functional nuclear warhead! (Not good!)

Q.) Why should we be worried here in the US?

A.) N. Korea is very poor, and has been practicing Dictatorial Socialism (similar to the Obamic Socialism currently being tried here in the US) for much longer than we have, so they’ve been able to completely run their country into the toilet—resulting in massive dependence on foreign humanitarian aid, and becoming a superb model for us to follow here in the States with President Obama.

In fact, N. Korea is so poor (and stupid) that when China sends them trains loaded with humanitarian aid, food, and supplies; N. Korea keeps the trains, and refuses to let them return to China! In N. Korea, trains are badly worn-out and in short supply. So they steal the aid trains, much to China’s frustration.

N. Korea has a huge army (4th largest in the world), but it is starving and poorly equipped, so it’s not as formidable a force as it could be, except in number.

My worry is that N. Korea’s desperate financial situation, their disdain for America, political isolation, paranoia, and the fact that they now posses expensive nuclear weapons—very desirable to terrorists—could lead them to sell nuclear weapons to people who would use them to kill millions of Americans in an instant—a literal fraction of a second.

It’s a bad situation! But thank goodness our President and the United Nations are able to issue harsh words of disapproval and anemic security resolutions to be ignored with impunity. We’re sure to be safe now—and Iran, seeing how serious we are, will probably cease it’s own frenzied production of weapons grade Uranium-235.

I know I’ll be sleeping well tonight….

A young Republican

A friend of mine sent this to me today in an email, and I just had to pass it along, because it’s so dang cute!

I recently asked my friend’s little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up.

She said she wanted to be the President some day.

Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, “If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?”

She replied, “I’d give food and houses to all the homeless people.”

Her parents beamed.

“Wow. . . what a worthy goal.” I told her, “But you don’t have to wait until you’re President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I’ll pay you $50. Then I’ll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.”

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, “Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?”

I said, “Welcome to the Republican Party.”

Her parents still aren’t speaking to me.

The difference between me, and the author would probably have been that, when asked why the homeless guy doesn’t do the work, I would have probably replied, “Because he’s a democrat.”

You’re in the Army now!

Okay, I have noticed that TV, Radio, and Newspapers have been constantly referring to Barack Obama as our Commander-in-Chief. What the heck? Did somebody secretly sign us all up for Military service?

Barack Obama is Commander-in-Chief to the U.S. Armed Forces (i.e. Army, Navy, Coast Guard). He is not my Commander! And if you’re not a soldier, he’s not your Commander either!

This is not Cuba, or the USSR! President Obama, contrary to what he thinks, does not command the nation! He’s represents it! Our country was designed as a Representative Republic! These Obasmic references to our Commander-in-Chief, in the context of the civilian public, is just another apparent attempt by Liberal Fascists to influence the public perception of the President’s role.

I’ve just about had it with these people!

Our—so called—Commander has forced us all to incur massive debt, in the face of serious economic hardship, for the despicable purpose of funding thousands of democrat pork projects, thus tripling the National Deficit in 3 weeks, all the while complaining about how the previous Administration doubled it in 8 years! We sure picked a winner, America.

Comrades, we are in for a rough ride! But now that we’re in the Military, we’ll be getting government benefits, paid for by . . . oh who the heck knows?!

Martin-Luther-King-Obama

mlk1__1232379453_2138

It’s Martin Luther King Day today, and tomorrow, the United State’s first black president will be inaugurated.

Even though I strongly disagree with most of Barack Obama’s politics, I think it’s a true testament to the progress of civil rights in America.

At one time, black people were totally without rights in this country. Today, they are equal—a full panoply of rights at their command; including even the attainment of the highest political office in the land. It’s not just a theory any more—it’s a fact.

In that sense, the upcoming inauguration day will be an extra special one.

I’m happy for the black community, and excited for what this means to them.  I see people for who they are, and not the color of their skin, but I also recognize that the black community, for generations, has struggled for freedom, rights, and equality, and they deserve their day in the sun. Congratulations!

But next time, please, just not Obama!
