We’re in BIG trouble! As I watched the evening news, post Democratic National Convention, I was horrified to see interviews with college students who were just gushing about how wonderful Barack Obama is, and filled with excitement for his new world plan (i.e. to duplicate old communist Russia).
The thing that worries me most about this Obama Generation is that too many Americans don’t seem to understand that when we’re all children of the government, and everyone gets their equal share of the pie; hard work, innovation, and economic success will go out the window. Why is anyone going to work hard to excel when they get the same keeps as someone who does the bare minimum required? How will we have a robust, and powerful economy when hard work is a foolish endeavor with no personal benefit? The only way to raise your standard of living will be to work so hard that you single-handedly raise the standard of living for everyone in the entire country, while everyone else sits and waits for you to do it!
While wealth distribution is a nice Utopian idea, and i agree that it is, it’s destined to fail here on earth, because we humans are generally not motivated to work solely for the benefit of others. If we were, there would be no need for government to force us to do it through Liberal Fascism. We would all donate every penny in excess of our basic needs to those who have less than us. No one would complain about paying taxes, and would probably even look for ways to pay more. If you don’t believe it, let me ask you; Are you the poorest person in the country? — Yeah, I didn’t think so! There are people less fortunate. You are greedy! You heartless scumbag! How dare you hold out on us?
So are you really going to go to your job every day, and work your butt off to “put in the extra mile”, and strive to be better than all the rest, if you still get the same paycheck as the lazy bum who calls in sick all the time, does a crappy job on everything, barely even works, and then goes home early. Eventually, it’s going to occur to you that you could have an easier life; less stress, more comfort, and still have the same standard of living; the same as everyone else in fact. Why not be lazy too? Surrender to the sloth, and ineptitude that is fostered by liberal fascism. Who cares? And who would blame you?
This is the reason why socialism has never worked well, and it never will! However, forces that be; liberal elites, worldwide, are trying very hard to make it appear that capitalism is failing in America, and socialism, or liberal fascism is the way to go. How? By deliberately enacting legislation designed to tank our economy, terrorizing people with threats of what will happen if the great global warming hoax is ignored, refusing to allow the use of our own local energy reserves, (which are vast) leading to skyrocketing energy prices, and huge losses to our national economy, encouraging trade with countries that don’t have the same social standards that we have (i.e. no minimum wage, no OSHA, etc.), and are therefore impossible to compete with commercially here in America. Because of this, America is bleeding money. Billions of dollars per day are hemorraged from our economy overseas to nations that hate us, and/or want to kill us, making them rich, while we get poorer. This is the plan! Liberal Fascism can’t gain traction until the majority of us are convinced that capitalism is evil, and a failure. And men like Barack Obama promise to rescue us from ourselves if only we will give up our freedom, and accept the government as our new, all knowing, all powerful agent of “hope and change”, our new great saviour; our new parents (like Mother Russia). Then everything will be fine. So they say.
It’s funny, one of the students I observed on the nightly news, when asked why she supported Barack Obama stated that she liked his economic plan which rewards hard work. Obviously she doesn’t understand Obama’s plan, economics, or both! While Obama gears up to punish hard workers, and businesses with record high taxes, and ill-conceived social programs, he at the same time has these poor mindless students convinced that his plan is to reward hard work! Honestly, I can’t believe these sheeple so happily consume such rotten piles of garbage as Barack Obama and the media shovel it to them by the bargeload! UGH!
But capitalism is not a failure! It only seems that way because it’s being poisoned by people who wish to impose radical changes on our system of government. Capitalism is what has made America the greatest, richest, and most powerful nation in the world, in such an incredibly short time, historically speaking. It’s the reason we are so great, both as a nation, and individually. It’s the persuit of happiness, and the freedom to acheive it, and to have it, and to own it, and to keep it!
Make no mistake! We are under attack from the inside! Vote for the security, and hope and change of Barack Obama at your own peril !
In the fine words of Benjamin Fanklin, “He who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither.”

Could NOT agree with you more!
I totall agree with you. Have a great day
This was wonderful! I agree 100 percent! You are a great writer! Can’t wait to read more.
Awww, thanks melissa c! I appreciate the kind words.
Just came over from our wife’s place. What a great post. I personally am so annoyed by this man. Thanks for sharing in my rant!!! It’s nice to know that not the whole world is falling at this guys feet.
Thanks Pea! I share your sentiments about Senator Obama, big time. I have so much more I could say about him, but I don’t want to create a “bash Obama” blog, so I guess I’ll leave the rest to others, at least for the time being. Suffice it to say, Obama scares me major bad! One annoying thing about him is that he’s so arrogant that he doesn’t know what he doesn’t know. Either that, or he does know, and he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Whichever it is, I just know that I don’t want him elected!
you’re a [explicative deleted] idiot fyi
You’re right, Dave. Out of the two of us, I am the idiot! It’s so obvious!
you all don’t understand what are country is going through and that President Obama is the one who will help us out of this. when this happens you will all feel like idiots
Anonymous: Thanks for taking the time to comment. I want you to know that I do understand what this country is going through. I am an ordinary working class citizen like most other people in this country. In fact, I work my butt off, almost literally! I try to be responsible; to save money, and feed my family, and I have struggled a lot in this. So believe me, I know what you’re feeling.
But please, I am begging you, do your own research. The policies that started with Bush, and are now being greatly expanded by President Obama will only enslave us and destroy prosperity in America.
I know this for a fact! I swear on my life, I do not lie.
I will not feel like an Idiot, because Obama is not going to save us. He’s hurting us, even now. He is terrorizing Wall Street and American Commerce with his brazen efforts to nationalize private businesses, punish them with taxes, and confiscate their wealth for redistribution, and it is causing the worst collapse on the US Stock Exchange since the great depression.
Businesses are failing, people are loosing their jobs, and unemployment is skyrocketing. — This is the change that Obama is bringing you.
So you say Obama is going to save us, and when he does, I will feel like an idiot. Well, let me ask you; how do you feel? Because as you were writing your comment, just the opposite was happening. As we argue this, Obama is destroying our economy and our liberty, and we are suffering from the effects—right now.
But I wish you were right, because I would rather be an idiot; and that is the honest to God truth!
But you know what? You took the time to comment here, and I appreciate that, even though we disagree. I would give anything to be able to change your mind, because I love this country, and I love the people in it, and I want it to succeed, and I know that it can’t succeed through acts of oppression. But even if I can’t convince you, I wish you the best, and if there’s anything I can do to help, please use the About page to contact me, and I promise to answer you. I know this country is struggling, but the answer lies with us, not the government!
Good luck to you, Annonymous, and feel free to come back and comment any time.
Thanks!
I know this is a never ending debate; i wish to die like a human and without having to worry whether me and my family will have food on the platter or not….the reason behind the survival and success of the human race is primarily becase of the camradrie and NOT everyone trying to be richer than the other. The problem with capitalism is that the society becomes too indvidualistic. Also, it might be a matter of debate but people who support capitalism are basically “fighting” for materialistic gain rather than socialists who fight for a cause…..
And the rationale behind socialism is a classless society without a state (state which exerts its own idea of good and bad on the masses)…….
parminder,
No, that is not capitalism. Capitalism, in a way, has a similar fundamental to what you describe, but people are generally “good,” and their main goal isn’t to be “richer” than the next. Most people don’t want to be “poorer” than the next, but what is really happening is they are striving for more until they find their place in society/the economy and then just strive to keep bettering in that segment. Some may be driven more by money than others, but regardless, they’re creating jobs when they can, because jobs = money! In capitalism, the sky is the limit, because we are allowed to fail and of course pick ourselves up and start again. If people keep failing… maybe they should work for soembody else. With socialism, there is no room for growth, because everything is about being “even,” with the exception of those in the government it seems(which is why people kill for power in those situations.. In our country, there really is no definite “power,” in the government, besided doing what we elect people to do.). Because people who would normally be expanding the economy and bettering the world in a capitalistic society lose incentive in a socialistic society, growth is halted, and eventually, caves in on itself due to things that happen(things happen with capitalism, but when failure happens, there is the ability to do something else and for other people to grow beyond the ceiling of socialism, which in turn keeps the capitalistic society alive because the growth outweighs the fall.
Now that’s just the best way I could explain it while typing straight through and not thinking about it for a while, but it is understandable enough and inarguable enough that most will just call me an idiot if they still don’t want to jump off the 0bama bandwagon. I’d say college students played a large role in voting this traitor into office, and many of them here are actually admitting “you were right,” “we didn’t think about that,” and “now I actually can see how things work.” And many of these kids aren’t the ones starting jobs in the summer after graduating(many of those will realise it when it comes to their checks, but some will realise it when they start planning a family and actually think about how to provide an easier path for their family(while making sure their children plan to do the same for their children early on)).
Andrew, well said. I couldn’t agree more.
